Gun Boat Small Patrol Craft with 1-2 weapon mounts. The first ship available to players and is very quick to build and repair. It is very fast and has a low radar signature, meaning that it will continue to be relevant as the game progresses. It is, however, only capable of carrying small cargoes and equipment fit-outs.
Patrol Boat Has 3 weapon mounts. A larger craft, with similar characteristics to the Gun Boat, but able to be equipped with heavier weapons and equipment.
Corvette A larger vessel with 4 weapon mounts, these are relatively fast attack craft. A good intermediate hull.
Frigate This will be one of the workhorses of your fleet, Commander! A capable and versatile hull with 5 weapon mounts that can be equipped to fill a number of different roles.
Destroyer Escort Larger than the Frigate, this capable craft packs 6 weapons and can also be used in multiple roles. It may roam the seas in flotillas or may be an escort for capital ships such as Cruisers and Battleships. Destroyer Escorts are lighter than Destroyers.

Cruiser. Cruisers are powerful ships and will often be found as the flagship of a fleet. They can be fitted with 8 weapons
Battlecruiser. The Battlecruiser is a heavily armed (10 weapons) and armored beast, slightly faster than Battleships, but with lighter armor and armaments.
Battleship. The Battleship is the ultimate floating weapons platform, heavily armed (12 weapons) with heavy armor and high hit points. All that weight does slow them down, so they can be vulnerable to attack by smaller, faster craft, so protect them well!
Battleships and Battlecruisers will be introduced after launch and are a high tech level.
